West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (WKRECC) is a trusted provider of power to over 31,000 members in Western Kentucky. With its headquarters located in Mayfield, Kentucky, WKRECC serves members in Calloway, Carlisle, Graves, and Marshall counties. As a member-owned cooperative, the members themselves are also the utility's owners.

The cooperative is committed to delivering reliable electricity and outstanding service to its members. Under the leadership of President & CEO David Smart, the cooperative operates daily with a dedicated team consisting of supervisors, line crew, and office staff. The cooperative is governed by a board of directors, elected by the membership to represent the four districts within the service area.

WKRECC is proud to be a Touchstone Energy Cooperative and a distributor of Tennessee Valley Authority power. Additionally, the cooperative holds memberships in the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association (TVPPA), the Kentucky Association of Electric Cooperatives (KAEC), and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). WKRECC follows the seven cooperative principles, which include open and voluntary membership, democratic member control, members' economic participation, autonomy and independence, education and training, cooperation among cooperatives, and concern for the community.
