Wolsztyński Klub Żeglarski is a sailing club based at the Niałek Wielki marina near Wolsztyn, Poland. It brings together people of different ages and experience levels to learn, practise and compete in sailing. The club offers sailing courses and training, including motorboat helmsman instruction, and organizes regattas, sailing events and camps. Members can also access sailing equipment and technical facilities for boating and maintenance.
The club supports competitive sailing through its Optimist, Europa and Flying Dutchman (FD) sections. Young sailors from age seven train in Optimist boats, developing practical sailing skills alongside knowledge of sailing theory, racing rules, knots and equipment care. Club sailors compete at national and international events. In 2026, the FD crew of Tomasz Kośmicki and Adrian Górka won the Polish Championship, while Jeremi Zimny became vice-champion in the Europa class. Based on Jezioro Bierzyńskie, the club shares its members’ enthusiasm and experience while encouraging newcomers and developing young competitors.
