The Wildlife Gardening Forum is a UK-based independent charity dedicated to promoting garden biodiversity and helping people make their gardens better for wildlife. Run entirely by volunteers, the Forum works to support the conservation, protection and improvement of gardens’ natural environments. Its central message is that gardens benefit wildlife, the environment, people and society, and that ordinary gardens can provide valuable habitats.

The Forum’s website offers extensive information and practical guidance for wildlife gardeners. Topics include garden ecology and biodiversity, wildlife and plant groups, garden habitats, planting for wildlife, seasonal garden care and adapting a whole garden to support nature. It also explores garden science, history and common wildlife-gardening myths. The organisation shares news, newsletters, conference reports and details of events, including its virtual symposium. Membership is free and provides access to newsletters, conference reports and early notification of events around the country. People can also connect through the Forum’s Facebook group and follow its Facebook page and Instagram account for questions, ideas, tips, news and inspiration.
