Western Nevada County Slowpitch Softball Association

The Western Nevada County Slo-Pitch Softball Association (WNCSSA) is a player-run, volunteer-led organization serving adult softball players in the Western Nevada County region of California. Based in Grass Valley, it provides governance and operational support for local leagues in partnership with the City of Grass Valley Parks & Recreation. The association grew from players’ efforts to establish a formal structure and give teams a direct voice in how their leagues are managed.

WNCSSA offers spring and summer team play, with fall softball held sometimes, and promotes a winter wood bat league. It welcomes adults interested in joining or forming a team and provides information and resources for players and team managers, including registration guidance, rosters, waivers, approved bat regulations, and player sign-ups. Its website also shares schedules, league standings, post-season brackets, news, and details about sponsorship opportunities. Games take place at Litton Ballfield, Memorial Park, and Condon Park in Grass Valley, where friends and families can watch.
