Werkstattladen Bueche

Wohnheim Bueche GmbH is a residential and support organisation based in Utzenstorf, Switzerland. It provides a small, family-like living community for up to 12 adults of working age who have psychological and/or intellectual disabilities. Located in a former villa with a garden, the home offers residents individually adaptable single rooms and a harmonious setting that balances community with personal choice. Its approach presents an alternative to larger institutions, with a focus on shared living and varied opportunities for meaningful activity.

Alongside its residential home, Wohnheim Bueche operates a day centre and a workshop shop in Utzenstorf. The day centre is open on weekdays, with morning and afternoon hours, while the workshop shop welcomes visitors on weekday afternoons. Together, these services provide settings for daytime activity and access to the organisation’s workshop offering. The organisation also shares information about its philosophy, team, activities, and current news, and invites enquiries about available places, employment opportunities, and donations. Its services are centred on supporting residents within a welcoming, community-oriented environment.
