M&M’s Musings is a personal photography and creative-writing blog by Mike Nelson Pedde, sharing thoughts, stories, and explorations of photographic techniques, equipment, and image-making. Its conversational articles combine personal experience with practical observations, inviting readers to consider not only the finished photograph but also the process of making it. Photography is the site’s main focus, with posts covering subjects such as legacy lenses, digital cameras, film photography, landscape and portrait work, and image processing.

One feature discusses the Sima 100mm f/2 soft-focus macro lens, including its handling, filters, limitations, and distinctive effects. Other entries describe photographing local weather and explain how images are created and edited. The blog also references tools such as Capture One Pro and equipment including Sony cameras and a Yashica film camera.

M&M’s Musings is not presented as a commercial photography company or retailer; rather, it offers a personal platform for sharing photographic stories, examples, and reflections
