Wolf Ranch Horse Rescue

Wolf Ranch Horse Rescue is an Indiana nonprofit organization established in 2017 and based on the west side of Evansville. Its mission is to provide physical, medical, nutritional, and emotional care, along with a loving environment, to horses in need. The rescue takes in abandoned or neglected animals, rehabilitates them, and seeks suitable adoptive homes; horses who are not adopted may remain as permanent residents at the ranch.

The 40-acre property includes a lake, a nine-stall barn, a round pen, and a paddock, as well as tack and equipment buildings. Wolf Ranch also grows and bales its own hay to support the animals’ care. Its website introduces current adoptable horses, permanent residents, success stories, and rehabilitation work, and provides information about placements and ways to support the organization. The rescue is associated with Heartland Equine Rescue, which it also fosters for, serving the southern Indiana area. Based in Evansville, Wolf Ranch Horse Rescue works to improve horses’ lives through care, rehabilitation, adoption, and a safe long-term home when needed.
