About Womankind Kenya
Welcome to WomanKind Kenya! We are a national NGO that has been registered since 1995. Our organization is dedicated to empowering women and children, the most vulnerable members of our society. At WomanKind Kenya, we focus on various issues such as education, sustainable livelihood, water sanitation and health, women empowerment, good governance, and emergency interventions.
Our work is guided by five main pillars: climate change resilience and livelihood, child protection and education, women empowerment and just governance, peace building and conflict transformation, and orphans and vulnerable children.
We are committed to climate change initiatives that aim to improve livelihoods within local communities. Additionally, our programs are tailored towards protecting children from retrogressive cultural practices through education. We also prioritize women empowerment through leadership programs, which contribute to just governance in society.
