@womenbusinessleaders.co.uk
The FTSE Women Leaders Review is the independent, business-led framework supported by Government which sets recommendations to increase the representation of women at board level and in senior leadership positions of FTSE 350 and private companies. The Review builds on the work of the Hampton-Alexander and Davies Reviews which preceded it. Co-Sponsored by Lloyds Banking Group and KPMG UK, the Review gathers data from the FTSE 350 and 50 of the UK’s private companies on over 27,000 board and leadership roles. It adopts a voluntary data-led approach, encouraging improvement, the sharing of best practice and publishes progress against Women on Boards and Women in Leadership (defined as the Executive Committee and their direct reports) on an annual basis. About Women Business Leaders Review
Women Business Leaders Review is an independent, business-led framework supported by the UK Government. It works with companies to improve women’s representation on the boards and leadership teams of FTSE 350 businesses and the UK’s largest private companies. Building on the work of the Davies, Hampton-Alexander and FTSE Women Leaders reviews, it uses a voluntary approach, setting recommendations and partnering with businesses to advance gender balance and equality of opportunity.
The Review collects and reports company data, publishes rankings and reports, and tracks progress against targets, including the goal of 40% representation for either gender in leadership. Its website provides company rankings, historical reports dating from 2011, FAQs, guidance on practical actions and policies to support a more equitable workplace, and insights on how organisations can bring about change. It also shares board stories, external research and press updates, and offers contact information for businesses and media. The Review’s work highlights progress across UK business while encouraging continued action to achieve balanced leadership.
