Dr. Sahar’s Women’s Health & Family Planning Clinic is an Irish women’s healthcare provider founded by Dr. Sahar Abouatiye in Newbridge in 2004.
In response to demand, the clinic opened a second location in Portlaoise in 2008, serving patients in Kildare and Laois. Its mission is to deliver professional care in a friendly, safe and confidential setting. Dr.
Abouatiye has worked in hospitals across Ireland, specialising in obstetrics, gynaecology and women’s health, and is a member and fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, a member of the UK’s Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and a member of the Medical Council of Ireland. Services include cervical smear tests, breast checks, pregnancy testing, STI screening, antenatal and postnatal care, incontinence treatment and pelvic health support. The clinic also provides contraception advice and care, including emergency contraception, contraceptive prescriptions and injections, and fitting or removal of hormonal and copper coils and implants.
Counselling is available for menopause, fertility, pregnancy, miscarriage, pelvic pain and other women’s health concerns
