Oregon Tradeswomen

The Western Resources Center for Women in Apprenticeship is dedicated to empowering women and girls by facilitating access to lucrative, high-skill careers in traditionally male-dominated fields such as construction, utilities, and manufacturing. This initiative is a collaborative effort involving Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc., Apprenticeship and Nontraditional Employment for Women, and Tradeswomen, Inc. The center provides a wealth of resources tailored to enhance recruitment, retention, and training for women pursuing apprenticeships.

Services include comprehensive curriculum resources designed for training providers, educational materials about various trades, and an extensive video gallery showcasing the experiences of successful tradeswomen. The center also offers tools for promoting apprenticeship opportunities and a resource library that connects women with essential information about their rights and career prospects. By fostering a supportive network, the Western Resources Center aims to increase the number of women entering and excelling in nontraditional occupations, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to thrive in their chosen careers.
