Women in Tech Japan (WITJ) is an international community dedicated to inspiring, connecting, and empowering women in the tech field. With over 700 members, our mission is to bridge the gender gap in the Japanese tech industry and promote diversity and inclusion. Our members come from various backgrounds and abilities, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, class, age, or sexual orientation.

For nearly a decade, WITJ has supported and advised hundreds of women in Japan, helping them explore their passions in tech, reach their potential, and gain recognition in their respective industries. Our community consists of engineers, academics, HR professionals, sales and marketing experts, and more, all with a shared interest in the tech sector. As a volunteer-run organization, WITJ operates with the support of sponsors and donations.
