Established in 2019, it became the National Championship under the aegis of the Romanian Federation of Motorsport.

The founder, Laura Savu, a dentist by profession and a motorsport enthusiast, aims to encourage women to have more confidence behind the wheel. The Women Rally team, led by Horațiu Savu, with over 25 years of experience in motorsport, organizes national and international racing events, promoting the involvement of women in motorsport.
