About Women's Board-ECS
Women's Board is a Nigerian not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that has been dedicated to the development of women since 1972. With a mission to empower Nigerian women through education and work standards, Women's Board aims to create citizens who are better equipped to contribute to the social progress of the country. The organization is registered with the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Lagos and has a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations' Economic and Social Council.
Women's Board carries out its objectives through educational activities implemented in various projects across Nigeria. These projects include the Wavecrest College of Hospitality, Wavecrest Study Centre, Afara Leadership Centre, Iroto School of Hotel and Catering, Iroto Rural Centre, Abidagba Health Centre, Imoran Centre for Professional and Social Development, Orisun School of Hospitality, Lantana College of Hospitality, Uzommiri Study Centre, and Tiebe Cultural Centre. Through these initiatives, Women's Board builds leadership qualities, provides work skills, encourages civic duties, and raises environmental awareness.
