Women's Health Tasmania is a brand that is dedicated to promoting the interests of Tasmanian women. They work in collaboration with both government and non-government organizations, as well as the community sector, to provide innovative and cost-effective services. Founded in 1988, Women's Health Tasmania has expanded beyond the Hobart area to offer women's health services across the whole of lutruwita/Tasmania.
Operating according to feminist principles, Women's Health Tasmania has an exemption under Section 57 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1998 (Tas) to focus on discriminating in favor of women in employment and the provision of services and facilities. They strive to support everyone who identifies as a woman and ensure that Tasmanian women are informed and active decision-makers in their own health and well-being. To turn their mission into a reality, Women's Health Tasmania provides a wide range of workshops, group activities, individual support, and general health information for women.
They offer appointments and are available for inquiries related to women's health between 9 am and 4 pm from Monday to Thursday
