About National Collective of Independent Women's Refuges
Women's Refuge New Zealand is the largest nationwide organization dedicated to supporting and helping women and children who are experiencing family violence. Our mission is to create a society where all women and children in Aotearoa can live free from domestic and family violence. We provide a range of services, including a 24-hour crisis line, information, and safe housing for those facing abuse.
Additionally, we offer various education programs for communities and organizations to raise awareness and foster positive change regarding domestic violence. Our organization also conducts groundbreaking research in New Zealand to better understand and address this issue.
