About Women Who Build Africa
Women Who Build Africa is a pan-African community dedicated to empowering and connecting women founders, builders, operators, investors, and ecosystem supporters in the tech space across Africa. As a women in tech community, they offer a range of products and services to support women in their journey. One of their flagship events is the WWBA Assembly, a multi-day pitch + workshop event held in Nairobi.
At the Assembly, attendees will have the opportunity to hear pitches from 10 talented women founders from across Africa, network with investors, ecosystem partners, and supporters, and participate in partner-led workshops designed to support participating founders. The event will also feature talks, discussions, and a Women in VC panel to inspire and explore ways to increase women's participation in the venture capital field. Women Who Build Africa is driven by the belief that tech needs women in the room and aims to create a path for more women to follow in the field of tech.
