Women Writing for (a) Change–Grand Junction offers a supportive, noncompetitive community where women can explore writing, develop a regular practice, and experience the value of being heard. Its classes welcome writers at every level, from those trying writing for the first time to published authors, poets, memoirists, journal writers, and people working in a particular genre. Through guided circles, participants share their work, listen deeply, and receive inspiration and practical tools for their writing process.

Class agendas include writing suggestions, and participants receive an anthology of work shared during the class. Small groups and thoughtful protocols help create a safe, personal setting for connection and creative exploration. Programs are offered online via Zoom and include multiweek classes, free sampler sessions, and seasonal writing circles.

The Second Saturday “Organizing Your Writing” series brings women together to rediscover and arrange past work, exchange ideas, and make time to write and share. The organization’s programs are designed to nurture authentic relationships as well as individual writing goals
