Wooded Acres Whitetails is a family-owned and operated deer farm in Nevada, Crawford County, Ohio. The Gregory family began raising whitetails in 2012 and welcomes visitors to learn about the farm and its animals. The herd is listed as Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) certified, with brucellosis and tuberculosis certifications. Since 2023, the farm has been transitioning its breeding program toward genetic markers and GEBV values associated with greater CWD resistance.
The farm offers breeder bucks, stocker bucks, does, bred does, doe and buck fawns, and whitetail semen. Its breeding program emphasizes strong genetics, aiming to produce wide, tall, heavy-antlered typical deer, with animals advertised as having 200-inch-plus genetics. Wooded Acres also provides guidance for people establishing deer farms, including advice on feed, nutrition, fawn care, and breeding. The family describes its operation as a turnkey resource for new deer farmers and can help connect customers with stocker buyers. Wooded Acres Whitetails is affiliated with the Whitetail Deer Farmers of Ohio and the North American Deer Farmers Association.
