Through projects like the fictional re-design of the Queen Silvia Children's Hospital in Gothenburg, WOODforHEALTH investigates the possibility of improving wood's cleaning methods through surface treatments or coatings while maintaining its valuable properties. Supported by various organizations and funding agencies, WOODforHEALTH strives to promote the use of wood in the European healthcare sector, enhancing indoor environment quality and reducing energy consumption
