About Woodland Cultural Centre
The Woodland Cultural Centre is a dedicated hub for preserving, promoting, and celebrating Indigenous language, culture, art, and history, especially that of the Hodinohsho:ni people of the Eastern Woodlands. Located in Brantford, Ontario, it stands as a premier destination for exploring the rich narratives and contemporary expressions of Indigenous peoples in the Great Lakes region.
Visitors can participate in a diverse range of educational programs, exhibitions, and workshops designed to enhance understanding and appreciation of Indigenous heritage. The Centre features an extensive collection of museum artifacts, artist resources, and language materials, making it a key resource for both community members and the general public.
In addition to exhibitions, the Centre offers unique merchandise through its gift shop, which supports its mission while providing visitors with memorable keepsakes. Engaging events, such as tours and ceremonies, enrich the experience, making the Woodland Cultural Centre a vital place for storytelling, learning, and connection within the Indigenous community and beyond.
