Woodlea House Day Nursery

Woodlea House Day Nursery & Pre-School provides early years education and childcare for babies, toddlers and children up to five years old at its Bournemouth setting on Crantock Grove, Castle Lane West. Its age-group rooms support children from the baby groups, Snowdrops, Butterflies and Toadstools, through to the pre-school Hedgehogs and Badgers. The nursery’s approach centres on nurturing each child’s development at their own pace, with opportunities to explore, experiment and take part in an engaging programme of learning.

Its stated aim is to help children become happy, independent, resilient lifelong learners, while building skills for their next steps. Woodlea House also works in partnership with families, sharing daily updates and children’s progress through the Blossom Parent App and welcoming parents’ contributions from home. Services include settling-in support, age-specific care and pre-school provision.

Parent reviews describe creative daily activities, nutritious food cooked on site and regular communication with staff. The nursery provides information about opening hours, fees, policies and securing a place for prospective families
