The Wood Library-Museum of Anesthesiology (WLM) is dedicated to advancing the field of anesthesiology by preserving and sharing its rich heritage and knowledge. Committed to transforming anesthesiology into a highly respected medical specialty, WLM provides a wide array of resources, including extensive library services, archives, and a museum that showcases the history of anesthesia. The collection features rare books, living history interviews, and digital resources, allowing easy access for users worldwide through ongoing digitization efforts.

WLM organizes fellowships and educational programs to support the growth of anesthesiology professionals. Donations play a vital role in maintaining these activities and enhancing the library's capabilities. Particularly noteworthy is the Patrick Sim, MLS Memorial Fund, established in honor of a distinguished librarian whose legacy continues to inspire.

WLM invites contributions from individuals and organizations to support these missions and ensure the future of anesthesiology’s historical resources. Your support helps foster a deeper understanding of this critical medical field
