Wooly Moon Farm

Wooly Moon Farm is a small homestead in Berthoud, Colorado, where caring for Southdown Babydoll sheep is part of daily farm life. The 4.5-acre property provides pasture for the sheep in spring, summer, and fall, along with a sheltered barn for evenings and winter. The farm offers lambs each spring, including animals registered with NABSSAR or BSSBA and unregistered lambs. Southdown Babydolls are smaller, friendly, and docile, qualities that make them well suited as lawn pets and a practical choice for the farm’s barn and pasture.

Wooly Moon Farm also highlights the wool and fiber products made from Babydoll fleece. The fiber is naturally fine, springy, and lofty, with a stated micron count of 22–28. Its softness and elasticity make it suitable for cozy garments, blankets, and artisan crafts. Visitors can learn about the farm’s story, its sheep, and its products through the website, and can contact the farm by email or phone for inquiries.
