Woosh Air, based in San Francisco, CA, was founded in response to the devastating forest fires that swept through California in 2018. Recognizing the urgent need for clean air and lack of effective air filters, Woosh set out to create a better solution. Utilizing their startup spirit, the first Woosh products were developed in a California garage using air filters and fans.
With a dedicated team of innovators and a fleet of 3D printers, Woosh quickly made its mark in the HVAC industry. They sought to address the limitations of traditional cardboard filter designs, focusing on convenience, connectivity, and sustainability. Through extensive interviews with homeowners and countless prototypes, Woosh honed their design.
Following successful beta testing in San Francisco that expanded to the entire Bay Area, Woosh has since launched in several cities including Sacramento, Austin, Dallas, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, and even my hometown, Toronto. Through this testing, valuable feedback has been garnered to continually improve the design. Woosh's mission is to bring transparency and awareness to air quality.
