About Woliński Park Narodowy
Woliński National Park is a protected natural area established in 1960 on Wolin, Poland’s largest island, in the West Pomeranian region. Covering 10,937 hectares, the park safeguards a varied landscape shaped by glacial forces and ongoing coastal change. Its notable features include dramatic Baltic Sea cliffs, mature beech forests, the island delta of the Świna River and coastal waters. The park is home to more than 230 recorded bird species and diverse marine life, including grey seals and porpoises. More than 1,300 vascular plant species have been recorded on Wolin, with around 600 found within the park.
Visitors can explore marked hiking trails, viewpoints and natural attractions, join guided tours, and learn about local nature and culture at the Natural History Museum. The European bison show enclosure offers another opportunity to discover wildlife. The park also provides educational activities, exhibitions, accommodation options, visitor information and recreational fishing services. Tickets are available for park entry and selected facilities.
