Worcester Center for Crafts

Worcester Center for Crafts is a community-based arts organization in Worcester, Massachusetts, dedicated to craft education, artist visibility, arts entrepreneurship, and appreciation of handmade work. It welcomes people who want to learn a new skill, experience an exhibition, shop for artisan-made pieces, or take part in a creative community.

The Center offers classes and workshops for adults, youth, and teens, alongside one-day sessions, private lessons, and group experiences. Programs span ceramics, metals, glass, photography, mixed media, fiber and textiles, and healing arts. Ceramics instruction ranges from introductory to advanced and includes several firing techniques; glass courses cover stained and fused glass, while photography classes include digital and darkroom methods. The Center also hosts events and exhibitions, including opportunities for artists to submit work, and operates the Krikorian Gallery and a handcrafted shop featuring work by emerging and established makers.

Its Artists-in-Residence Program supports pre-professional artists working in clay, glass, and metals. Additional offerings include open studios, internships, volunteer opportunities, event and meeting-space rentals, and ways to support local craftspeople.
