The WEU

The Workers of England Union (WEU) was launched to provide a much-needed protective voice for workers in England. Unlike Scotland and Wales, England did not have its own dedicated trade union. Focusing exclusively on England, WEU is committed to advocating for the rights of workers in the workplace.

WEU offers a range of products and services to its members. These include Counselling Services and Occupational Health Services, ensuring the well-being and support of workers. They also provide professional indemnity insurance for both non-NHS and NHS professionals, ensuring comprehensive coverage.

WEU represents workers from various sectors, including Cleaning Services, Construction, Education, Health and Social Care, Retail, and more. The union strives to protect employment rights and promotes dignity at work. In addition to their advocacy work, WEU also conducts campaigns on important issues such as living wage, zero-hour contracts, and the abolition of student fees.
