@Worklimate

Worklimate is a pioneering initiative aimed at addressing the impact of thermal stress on workers' health and productivity, particularly in outdoor professions such as agriculture and construction. With a mission to enhance knowledge and develop solutions, Worklimate conducts in-depth studies leveraging data from INAIL (the Italian Workers' Compensation Authority) to analyze workplace injuries related to extreme heat and climate conditions.

The project offers a comprehensive approach by creating an alert system that combines meteorological, climatic, and epidemiological data. This system includes a web-based forecasting platform and an app, providing personalized weather predictions tailored to workers' specific environments, whether exposed to sunshine or shaded areas.

Worklimate also focuses on education, organizing seminars and training sessions to inform workers and employers about the risks associated with heat, alongside technological solutions to promote safety. By integrating valuable insights and resources into the Portal of Physical Agents (PAF), Worklimate aims to support both workers and safety professionals in mitigating risks associated with extreme temperatures.
