About EERI
The World Housing Encyclopedia (WHE) is a collaborative initiative by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) and the International Association for Earthquake Engineering (IAEE). Its primary mission is to compile and disseminate valuable resources related to housing construction practices in seismically active regions globally. The WHE features an extensive database of over 170 housing profiles, providing in-depth insights into various construction types from more than 45 countries, authored by professionals in architecture and engineering.
