About WLA
The World Lottery Association (WLA) is an international association comprised of state-controlled lotteries, licensed sports betting operators, and gaming industry suppliers. As an open forum for its members, the WLA promotes their collective interests and highlights the important role that state lotteries play in raising funds for good causes. The WLA's mission is to advance the interests of its members and support their development through a range of lottery and betting services.
With a vision to be recognized as the global authority in the lottery and betting sector, the WLA upholds the highest ethical principles and assists members in their efforts to generate funds for good causes. Governing the organization is a 13-member Executive Committee, consisting of lottery CEOs from around the world, along with five supporting committees focused on key pillars of the global lottery industry, including corporate social responsibility and security. International cooperation is a core value of the WLA, collaborating closely with regional lottery associations across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America.
