World Champion Taekwondo is a family-owned martial arts school serving the Solon community and Greater Cleveland area since 1995. Led by Grand Master Ki Moon Kwon, a Kukkiwon-certified 7th-degree black belt and former world, Asian, and Korean champion, the school offers instruction shaped by decades of martial arts experience. Grand Master Kwon also served as head coach of the U.S. National Taekwondo team and personally developed the school’s curriculum.

Programs are tailored for students of different ages and experience levels, combining traditional Taekwondo forms, practical self-defense, and Olympic-style sparring. Classes emphasize physical skills as well as focus, confidence, respect, discipline, perseverance, and personal growth. The school’s head instructors hold at least 4th-degree black belts, and its welcoming, encouraging environment is designed to support beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Flexible scheduling helps families fit training into busy routines. World Champion Taekwondo also offers free introductory classes and holds color belt tests. Its Solon location is at 31300 Solon Road, where students can contact the school to learn about programs and schedules.
