About WORLD SAKE DAY NYC
World Sake Day NYC is an annual Brooklyn-based celebration connecting New Yorkers with Japanese sake and the people, stories, and traditions behind it. Founded in 2021, the event has grown from an intimate gathering into a larger showcase of sake, food, craftsmanship, art, and community. Its 2026 celebration marks the sixth year and is scheduled for September 27 at The W Loft Rooftop in Brooklyn.
Visitors can taste premium sake from more than 30 breweries and distributors in Japan and the United States, meet industry experts and producers, and explore Japanese culture through food, art, and hospitality. The event also features curated Japanese food vendors, local artists, makers, and cultural vendors, set against views of the New York City skyline. A VIP option offers priority entry, premium sake selections, and an exclusive gift. In partnership with Ambassador Wine, guests can purchase selected sake bottles at the event. World Sake Day NYC also welcomes prospective exhibitors and offers a newsletter for event news and updates.
