Welcome to WormCycle®! We are a Detroit-based vermicomposting operation dedicated to all things vermiculture. As a Michigan company, we offer worm castings, Red Wigglers, the Urban Worm Bag, and links to the growing movement of vermicompost. What sets us apart is our commitment to the virtuous cycle of reducing, reusing, and recycling.

By adding worms to the equation, we create a better soil that supports faster growing, stronger plants, all while eliminating the need for modern chemicals. Our process begins with composting horse manure, using a 60-90 day aging process to remove seeds and pathogens. Then, our hardworking Red Wigglers work through the material in our indoor facility for another 60 days, resulting in a completely organic product that is rich in micro-biotic life, humic acids, and growth hormones.

When used as a soil amendment, our vermicompost accelerates seed germination, increases growth of seedlings, promotes early flowering, and enhances yields. It also controls a wide variety of plant pests and diseases. By choosing WormCycle®, you not only enrich your soil but also contribute to environmental benefits such as reducing waste flow to landfills and greenhouse gas emissions.
