Wormillion is a geography game created by Michael Boujikian and published at wormillion. app and wormillion. netlify.
app. It challenges players to name real places that match a series of prompts, rewarding more points for answers that are less widely known. Obscurity is measured using monthly Wikipedia views: famous places attract many views and yield shallower dives, while more obscure locations send the player’s worm deeper.
Each run features ten rounds, with 30 seconds to answer each prompt. Players can keep guessing without penalty for incorrect or unrecognized answers, but cannot repeat answers within a run. They may also skip a round, earning no points for it.
Wormillion offers daily digs, with the same ten prompts available to everyone on a given day, as well as an endless mode for fresh challenges. Players can review past dives, track scores and streaks, and share results. The game’s place bank contains 32,450 real locations.
