Wortfühler

Wortfühler is a writing workshop based in the Stuttgart region, welcoming people with or without literary experience to explore language in a supportive, collaborative setting. Rather than aiming for perfect texts, the workshop encourages curiosity, enjoyment, and attentive engagement with everyday life. Participants make time to notice their surroundings and reflect on their impressions through writing and storytelling. Poems and other texts, music, colours, nature, and encounters with people provide inspiration for creative exploration. Shared poetry gatherings offer space to exchange ideas in an appreciative atmosphere, and participants may carry insights from these experiences into their daily lives.

Wortfühler offers courses and special events built around creative writing and poetic observation. Listed themes include “The Virtuosos of the Air,” “Poetry in the Bee House,” “Animal Friendship,” “The Beautiful Galatea,” and “Whispering Tree Canopies.” The workshop presents writing as an open-ended, sensory practice, combining individual creativity with the richness of community. Led by Heidrun Räuchle, Wortfühler invites visitors to discover its courses, specials, and approach to writing together.
