Wortwerk Hamburg is a creative writing practice led by Beate Münchenbach, focused on helping people explore their experiences and express themselves through words. Its offerings include creative-biographical writing workshops for adults, teenagers and children, available in group settings, as well as individual writing coaching for adults. The workshops and coaching encourage participants to develop their creativity and find a personal path into writing.
Wortwerk also hosts Walk & Write events, combining walks with writing prompts inspired by places, seasons and surroundings. The site shares poems, stories and reflections, offering visitors writing to read and browse alongside information about activities and upcoming dates. Published pieces touch on themes such as memory, loss, connection and nature. Visitors can explore the blog and archive, view a gallery, find details about the workshops and coaching, or subscribe to the newsletter for updates. With an inviting, personal approach, Wortwerk Hamburg brings together writing, creativity and lived experience for people of different ages and backgrounds.
