About Woven Ink
Woven Ink is an independent animation and visual minute studio that specializes in helping people and organizations share their stories in compelling and beautiful ways. As an animation and creative studio, they collaborate with researchers and organizations to amplify their work through hand-made, thoughtfully crafted animations and visuals. Their mission is to connect people and audiences to stories and lived experiences.
With a focus on creating impactful content, Woven Ink takes on projects that tackle important topics such as living with Vulval Lichen Sclerosus, Layered Identities, #EndFGM, Sexual Assault Referral Centres, the struggles of Living with Tourette Syndrome, and considering eating disorders in men. They aim to provoke empathy and raise awareness by depicting powerful and emotion-evoking imagery. Their exceptional work has been recognized with accolades, such as the Best Membership Communication at the TUC Trade Union Communication Awards in 2018 and the Research Project of the Year: Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at THE Awards in 2021.
