The Western Pigeon Federation of Victoria Inc. is a vibrant community that brings together pigeon fanciers passionate about the exhilarating sport of pigeon racing. Since its establishment in 1972, the organization has been a cornerstone for enthusiasts in the West, offering a platform to train and compete with racing pigeons of remarkable pedigree that trace back to the early 1800s. Members engage in a thrilling range of races, from sprints of 150 kilometers to challenging marathon events that stretch over 900 kilometers, where participants can achieve impressive speeds. The Federation also hosts the longest pigeon race over water globally, showcasing the remarkable abilities of these birds.

To foster interest in the sport, the Federation provides support for newcomers, helping them build their racing lofts, or offering sponsorship opportunities for those who wish to experience the thrill of pigeon racing without the daily responsibilities. With various events, auctions, and a commitment to community fun, the Western Pigeon Federation of Victoria is the go-to destination for anyone eager to explore the exciting world of pigeon racing.
