Waypoint West

Waypoint West is an independent registered investment advisor serving founders, creators, families, and other modern clients who want their wealth to reflect their priorities. The firm takes a holistic view of each client’s financial life, helping simplify complex decisions and connect investments, taxes, estate considerations, compensation, and philanthropy.

Its services include investment and portfolio management, tax optimization, hedging and options, values-aligned investing, private markets access, strategic advisory, liquidity solutions, insurance, trust and estate planning, philanthropic strategy, and generational continuity planning. Waypoint West also supports founders navigating equity awards and liquidity events, creators building flexible financial plans, families managing generational transitions, and changemakers seeking to direct capital toward meaningful impact.

The firm emphasizes independence and says its advice is aligned with clients’ interests. Through the Waypoint Collective, clients can also access curated events and introductions, proprietary insights and investment themes, and opportunities to exchange ideas on giving and impact. Waypoint West is registered in California and Ohio, and its website describes its content as general information rather than individualized investment, tax, or legal advice.
