The Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center (WRC) is the first of its kind in Armenia, established through a collaboration between the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Values, the Ministry of Nature Protection, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Since its opening on May 6, 2016, the center has been dedicated to rescuing and caring for injured wild animals, including both common and rare species, as well as exotic wildlife.

The WRC specializes in providing specialized care and monitoring for animals that have been abandoned, injured, or subjected to cruel treatment. Located in the Caucasian Biodiversity Sanctuary, the center operates away from populated areas to ensure a peaceful environment for its inhabitants. The center's efforts extend beyond rescue; they also encourage community involvement through volunteering and donations, striving to create a better future for wildlife in Armenia and beyond. With a focus on animal welfare, conservation, and education, the WRC plays a vital role in protecting and rehabilitating wildlife.
