Wren Laboratories is a Yale University spinoff focused on advancing precision medicine through mRNA-based liquid biopsy diagnostics. Its proprietary RNA stabilization and testing platform analyzes messenger RNA activity to reveal functional insights into tumor biology, including signaling pathways that can influence cancer behavior. These findings are intended to help clinicians make more informed treatment decisions and support biopharma teams in drug development.

The laboratory offers NETest® and PROSTest®, clinically validated tests for neuroendocrine tumors and prostate cancer, respectively. Its multi-gene mRNA expression technology supports cancer detection, monitoring, and personalized management; additional assays for cancers including colorectal, lung, and breast are in development. For biopharma partners, Wren provides support across drug discovery and development, including bioinformatics, quality systems, regulatory expertise, and companion diagnostic development.

Wren Laboratories is CLIA-, CAP-, NYSDOH-, and ISO 15189-certified and reports collaborations with medical institutions internationally. The company states that its tests are provided under CLIA, CAP, and NYSDOH oversight and are not currently FDA-approved.
