About WhanganuiRHN
Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN) is a non-profit charitable trust and the primary health organization for the Whanganui region. Our dedicated team is committed to improving access to quality healthcare for our community. We offer a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of our patients.
Under the WRHN umbrella, we have 11 general practices where you and your whānau can access primary care services. Our team of navigators, clinicians, and support staff work collaboratively with you to ensure you receive the healthcare that meets your needs. In addition, we provide a variety of community services, including support for long-term conditions, pregnancy and parenting, social support, and screening and immunizations.
At WRHN, we believe in fostering a positive and proactive approach to health and wellbeing. Our mission is to provide high-quality health and wellbeing services to our community, empowering them to be the best they can be. The board of trustees, comprising clinical and community-focused professionals, ensures that decisions are made in the best interest of the Whanganui population.
