Wrist Dope is a ballistic calculator for Apple Watch and iPhone, designed to provide quick, accessible firing solutions in the field. Its standalone Apple Watch app works without an iPhone connection or cell service, while the iPhone app offers a full calculator and syncs profiles and live state with the watch. Users can turn the Digital Crown to view elevation and wind holds, create range cards, capture target and wind direction, and use a rifle-calibrated anti-cant level.
The independent point-mass solver accounts for G1 and G7 drag, atmospheric conditions, Coriolis effect, spin drift, and shot angle, with results in MIL or MOA. An onboard catalog lets users scan factory ammunition barcodes to build gun and load profiles, and a component bullet picker supports handloaders. Siri can provide holds and adjust wind by voice.
The apps also offer hit-probability estimates and terminal-performance references. Core calculations are free; Pro features include scanning, Siri, automatic conditions, and live complications, with a seven-day trial and one-time upgrade rather than a subscription
