WRIV

The Württembergischer Rollsport- und Inline-Verband e.V. (WRIV) is the regional association supporting roller and inline sports in Württemberg, Germany. It promotes these sports and advises its member clubs, bringing together athletes and communities across a wide range of disciplines. Its sports include inline alpine and downhill, inline fitness and speed skating, inline hockey and skater hockey, roller derby, rink hockey, artistic roller skating, and skateboarding and longboarding.

Founded in Stuttgart in 1952 as the Württembergischer Eis- und Rollsportverband, the association adopted its current name in 1997 as inline skating grew and the sport’s disciplines were incorporated. Today, it represents sports practiced on wheels, including skateboarding, and is affiliated with the German Roller Sports and Inline Federation through its clubs.

The WRIV provides information and resources for members and clubs, including details on membership, club surveys, fees, downloads, youth activities, anti-doping, and training. Its website also shares news about competitions, athlete achievements, and events, helping connect the region’s rolling-sport community.
