About World Robot Olympiad-Bangladesh
WROBd is a renowned brand in the field of robotics and technology. As the representative of Bangladesh in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), WROBd brings together young minds from over 75 countries to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills through exciting robot competitions and educational activities.
Organized by Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN), WROBd conducts national competitions where teams of two or three students, aged 8 to 20, collaborate to build robots that tackle various challenges based on an annual theme. The winners from these national competitions earn the opportunity to compete in the international finals.
The upcoming season, WRO 2023, focuses on the theme of PowerBots, which highlights the challenges associated with using renewable energy sources. This year, the international final will be held online from November 18th to November 21st in response to the ongoing pandemic.
