Winnifred Stewart

Winnifred Stewart Association is an Edmonton-based organization dedicated to connecting people with their communities and supporting individuals with diverse abilities to lead fulfilling lives. Guided by the belief that people should be empowered to pursue their dreams, the association provides customized support through community and facility-based programs. Its services include Community Opportunities and leisure activities, employment and volunteer support, and Home Services offering a variety of residential options. The organization also features a Memory Care Centre and Mindful Hearts, with information and training related to its care approach.

Winnifred Stewart’s programs help people explore interests, build on personal milestones, and take part in community life. The association also works to influence public perspectives and raise support through the Winnifred Stewart Foundation, its fundraising arm. Fundraising initiatives include Joey & Friends Empties, which offers a way for the public to contribute while supporting awareness. Community donations help fund programs and services, with contributions directed to areas of greatest need.
