WSC Lippstadt e. V. is a Lippstadt sports club that has promoted water and winter sports since 1932.
With more than 400 members, it offers activities for individuals and families, from beginners to competitive athletes. Its water sports programmes include stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing for newcomers, canoe slalom and competition, and whitewater and touring disciplines. The club also provides strength training and winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding and sledding.
Members can take part in training, competitions and organised club activities, while facilities and services include boat rental, a club bus, a boathouse and camping. Youth development is a key priority, supported by cooperation with schools; the club’s school canoe project has brought hundreds of students onto the water. WSC Lippstadt is affiliated with the German Canoe Association, the German Ski Association and the German Stand Up Paddle Association.
It has received the Gold Star of Sports, a national award recognising its school canoe initiative, and shares club news, events and sporting achievements with its community
