About WSED
The OĆ Energiesparverband, established in 1991 by the region of Upper Austria, is a leading information hub for energy advice. With a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable energy, they cater to households, businesses, and municipalities through various services. Offering over 10,000 energy advice sessions annually, they provide support for energy-saving construction and refurbishment, benefiting over 100,000 buildings since 1993.
The Energy Academy conducts training seminars on energy efficiency and renewable energy, while awareness-raising campaigns, competitions, and events promote energy information. As the organizer of the World Sustainable Energy Days, Europe's largest conference on renewable energy and energy efficiency, they engage participants from around the world. Additionally, the OĆ Energiesparverband manages regional support programs, provides resources for businesses on energy efficiency, supports energy technology companies through the Cleantech-Cluster, and assists municipalities in developing energy plans.
