The Wisconsin State Golf Association (WSGA) is a statewide organization dedicated to promoting golf in Wisconsin. Founded in 1901, it serves golfers, clubs and the broader golf community through membership programs, competitions, education and news. Members can receive a Handicap Index through the World Handicap System, post scores, look up handicap information and use tools such as a Course Handicap Calculator and National Course Rating Database.
The WSGA organizes tournaments for men, women and juniors at a range of skill levels, and provides schedules, results, standings, tournament policies and information about Team Wisconsin. Its resources cover the Rules of Golf and player education, while its online course directory helps users explore Wisconsin golf facilities. The association also supports youth participation through Youth on Course and operates a foundation that accepts gifts and hosts golf outings.
Golfers can follow state golf news through Wisconsin Golfer, the WSGA’s monthly digital magazine, its podcast and mobile app, which offers access to handicap information, tournaments, membership details, news, photos and videos
